never allow their child to just meander along and do their thing, literally taking 2 hours to walk a block while stopping and smelling flowers and kicking off their shoes, not telling him to hurry up or just picking him up and going

and then on top of that they let him pick whatever he wanted for dinner and then cook it without telling him what to do or saying that he was wrong for doing something. theyre letting him have his own ideas and creativity and helping him achieve his goals instead of making him pick something else. like i know he’s only 2, but that is an amazing lesson to learn. they’re teaching him not to stifle himself or his ideas and wants and i jsut jdsadfjlfdjlsafjl;dasf jl; lasdj;
